Dr. Brackett will continue to venture around the motherland and cultivate African hair stories. To do so she needs continued support. These store items are designed in collaboration with those on the ground, from the places she conducts her research. The goal is that all items are produced by Black owned companies, if not Black owned, POC owned. The blog posts come from Africans, from across the continent, who wish to share, in their own words, part of their hair stories. Dr. Brackett compensates these writers for sharing with us.
